In attendance at the draw ceremony was STO 2025 top seed, Anna Kalinskaya who said, “It’s a very interesting draw, (and we’re) seeing a lot of good matches in the first round, so hopefully the level is going to be really high. (Kallang Tennis Hub) is really great, everything is comfortable and people are super nice, taking care (of me) and organising this tournament. I just want to say thanks to all the people for doing this hard work, I’m sure not only me but many other players are happy to be here! I’m sure all players will do our best, and hopefully a lot of people will come to watch and enjoy it!”

Seventh seed Raducanu plays Cristina Busca in the first round, with their contrasting play styles expected to wow fans when they hit the court.
Second seed Elise Mertens headlines the bottom half of the draw as she faces Australian Open women’s doubles finalist Taylor Townsend in the first round.
Fans will witness the tournament’s top-ranked Asian player, Wang Xinyu, facing Rebecca Marino in a career-first meeting right here at the Kallang Tennis Hub. A battle of baseliners awaits, with a potential second-round duel against Alycia Parks, a former WTA 250 champion.

Singapore Tennis Open Main Draw Kicks Off on Monday!
Singapore returns to the Hologic WTA Tour calendar for the first time in over six years. This time, the spotlight shines on the newly established Kallang Tennis Hub – Singapore’s first international tournament-ready indoor tennis facility – as it proudly hosts the STO 2025. From seasoned players to determined challengers, the STO 2025 is poised to deliver edge-of-your-seat action and unforgettable memories. Anna Kalinskaya, Elise Mertens, Wang Xinyu, Polina Kudermetova, Camila Osorio, Emma Raducanu, Moyuka Uchijima and Alycia Parks are a few of the names scheduled to headline the tournament.
