Around 4,500 runners participated in the 5KM and 10KM run yesterday at the 8th Robinsons’ Fit & Fun Wellness Buddy Run held at Bonifacio Global City. Spotted in this event are triathlete Nikko Huelgas, who recently bagged a gold medal for the sport at the 28th SEA Games, Philippines Volcanoes captain Jake Letts and celebrities James Reid and Jessy Mendiola.
This annual Fit & Fun Buddy Run with Robinsons Supermarket’s commitment to health and wellness. Aim to have healthy and active lives, and encourage the rest to start healthier days by going on a wellness journey with Robinsons Supermarket.
Aside from the race where some sponsors have booth in the event, finishers are given loot bag with full freebies in the finish line. (Who will not surprise to have all of this goodies, right? 🙂 )

Aside from the goodies, Robinsons Supermarket awarded top pair finishers with this prizes:
- 5KM winners won a trip for 2 to Coron, Palawan
- 10KM winners bagged a trip for 2 to Yangon, Myanmar
- 2nd to 5th place finishers received Robinsons Gift Certificates as consolation prizes
Not just the top finishers received the awards but there are specials awards from the events sponsors like Nestle Best Shape-up Buddies, Milo Energy & Milo R2 Twin Buddies, Johnson & Johnson Active Fresh Award, Close-up Couple award, Rexona Do More Buddies and Breeze Sige Mom-child Tandem award.

Me and my husband also participated in the event and ran 10km in barefoot. Not just doing this for a fun run but we always run if we have free time. You can be fit and have great lifestyle even if your not going to gym to have your work out. Stay healthy will start in what you intake and daily dose of exercise will make you fit.
